Smarter Than AI develops a candidate-evaluation solution that measures the skills where humans retain an advantage over AI models. As part of our growth, we are looking for an intern to contribute to the design and calibration of our tests. The position is particularly suited to students in psychology or cognitive science.
Compensation and benefits
- Stipend of €850 net per month, above the French legal minimum.

Responsibilities
You will work on Smarter Than AI, our recruiting solution designed to identify candidates who outperform AI models. Please note: the selection process itself relies partly on Smarter Than AI (see the hiring process below).
- Monitor recent scientific publications and produce summaries.
- Select the most relevant tasks, run them against AI models and objectively assess their performance.
- Co-design new tests with the help of AI, then administer them to both humans and AI models.
The internship focuses on Smarter Than AI. Depending on your interests, you may also contribute to the company's other projects.
Requirements
- Daily on-site presence; remote work remains exceptional.
- Ability to read, understand and summarise scientific papers in English.
What the internship will bring you
- Advanced proficiency with AI tools, including training on Claude Code throughout the internship.
- Significant experience in recruiting and technology.
- A stronger grasp of computer science concepts.
This internship is intended for candidates who wish to orient their career toward AI, technology or recruiting.
Additional assets
- Ability to present the project: no commercial prospecting is required, but you may occasionally present Smarter Than AI and, if you wish, accompany the founder to selected events.
- Interpersonal skills: you will work in a large open space.
